He was born in Linares (Jaén) in 1968.
He started his career in the Conservatorio Superior de Música (School of Music) of Córdoba.
In 1992, he got the Qualification for Piano Teacher in the Conservatorio Superior “Victoria Eugenia” (School of Music) of Granada.
In 1994, he started his training in Composition and Instrumentation with the Maestro Mr. Manuel Castillo. Then, in 1996 he got the Qualification to be a Teacher of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition, Instrumentation and Musical Forms in the Conservatorio Superior “Manuel Castillo” (Shool of Music) of Seville.
In 1996, he got an Honourable Mention in his professional exams for Composition Teaching (Medium Degree).
In 1996, he also enrolled in the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música (School of Music) of Madrid in the Department of Orchestra Conduction, with the Maestro Mr. Enrique García Asensio.
In 1997, he enrolled in the Real Conservatorio de Música (School of Music) of Madrid in the Composition Department , with the Maestros Mr. Antón García Abril and Mrs. Zulema de la Cruz. In 1998, he got the Qualification for Teacher of Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition, Instrumentation and Musical Forms, getting the best mark.
He has done some improvement courses with eminent teachers such as E. Rueda (Harmony), F. González Pastor (Musical Forms), M. Carra, J. López-Jimeno, A. Cano, R. Quero, E. Sánchez, Claudio Prieto (Composition), J. M: Cervera, P. Pirfano, O. Calleya and E. García Asensio (Orchestra Conduction).
In 1999, he enrolled in the Department of Orchestra Conduction with Mr. Octavio Calleya.
As a teacher, in 1992 he passed the exam to be a teacher of Music and Performing Arts, teaching Theory of Music. Currently, he is an Orchestra teacher in the school of music where he was born.
As an Artistic Director he took part in the Symphony Orchestra of “Oltenia” (Craiova).
He is the Founder-Director of the Ciudad de Linares Orchestra.
It is worthwhile to point out the following concerts:
On January 31 st 2002, he took part in the opening ceremony of the Cervantes Theatre in Linares, as the Artistic Director of the Ciudad de Linares Orchestra, in which the flamenco singer Carmen Linares also took part performing the Amor Brujo (Bewitching Love). The President of the Junta de Andalucía (Autonomous Government of Andalusia) was present at the ceremony, which was a great success.
On April 19 th 2003, he performed the play “Requiem Mass” by W. A. Mozart with the Ciudad de Linares Orchestra and the Orpheon of Granada.
On March 31 st 2004, he opened the XVIII Courses of Musical Specialization “Spring 2004” in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música (Vocational School of Music) of Linares, with the School of Music Orchestra getting a great success.
He is currently the Artistic Director of the Symphony Band “Ciudad de Linares”, Young Orchestra “Ciudad de Linares” and the Symphony Orchestra “Ciudad de Linares”.
